James, IL

by

Several years ago I was stuck in a job I no longer loved with a commute that took nearly 90 minutes each way. I felt stuck. One crisp Chicago spring morning I decided to ride my bike in—nearly 17 miles—and I was hooked. In the years since I’ve commuted long distances and short ones, but that time went from a burden to being my time. It’s time I can really exercise, or not; solve problems, or not;  explore new routes, or not. Bikes have helped me reclaim my time in my day.
