In 2008 I was an unhealthy pizza delivery driver in a city I was growing to hate and on the cusp of loosing my social life. I moved to a new part of the city and met some nice neighbors who rode bikes around at night. One of those nights they asked me to join them. I grew to love my city as I saw it from a new point of view. A few years passed and I moved to Chicago for safer biking. Now I am a Bike Ambassador for the City of Chicago’s Transportation Department. I encourage and advocate for others who want to change their lives by riding bikes. I love bikes and owe so much of my current life to my ability to hop on a saddle and ride off.
